A message from our Rector:
Welcome
to Saint Paul's Anglican Church. We worship each Sunday morning in
our beautiful Historic Chapel here in Crownsville, Maryland in the "Anglican
Tradition," using the 1928 Book of Common Prayer.
We are dedicated to serving our community with compassion and care. We
welcome all visitors and newcomers into our midst. I assure you that a
wonderful "spirit of love" abounds in our church and you can feel a
tremendous sense of "togetherness" in the Body of Christ.
True Christianity is not a solo religion. It is communion: shared love, life and
fellowship with God. In this life and in the life to come we are called to
holiness and to make Holy the Church of God. What does it mean to believe in
God? Most people in our Nation say that they believe in God, but very few act
upon either their belief or desire.
Consider the offerings you will find here at "Saint Paul's." You will find out
about prayer, worship, and service, all of which are meant to help you explore
the role of "holiness" in your life.
We hope we can become an integral part of your "faith journey." We envision an
ever expanding life-giving movement, in which individuals and families are
transformed by an authentic relationship with God, embraced by a small, caring
community and empowered to make an eternal difference among their neighbors and
in the nations of the world.
Please join us and may God bless and keep you,
+Bishop Bob
